R&D Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES
 Conduct R&D on baked products (bread, cakes, bun and any baked products) and new recipes when the need arises.
 To involve in the R&D, data collection and end product evaluation on any testing carried on at the plant scale.
 Manage product development activities and to participate in cross-departmental activities resulting in meeting food safety and quality objectives.
 Initiate and actively involved in new product sensory and keeping quality evaluation for improvement plan.
 To ensure development works is abide to the Malaysian Food Act & Regulations.
 Liaise with supplier on the new ingredients info and sample coordination.
 Conduct R&D on the new ingredients selection purposes whenever required which involve both laboratory and plant scale.
 Conduct production trial of new/alternative/substitute ingredients and processes in collaboration of operation team.
 Coordinate and report the end product testing for the routine test of raw material.
 Work closely with the Halal unit, Purchasing, Warehouse and Quality Assurance department on the new ingredient purchase related to new product development.
 To assist on managing R&D functions in the R&D laboratory.
Job Requirements
 Degree in Food Science / Technology.
 At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
 Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Food Technology/Nutritionist or equivalent.
 Good personality and positive working attitudes, responsible, self-discipline and dedicated
