Farm Veterinarian
FFM Farms Sdn. Bhd. (Trong/ Linggi/ Gurun)
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
| • | | To carry out poultry disease control, prevention and treatment at farm, under Farm Manager’s supervision. |
| • | | To plan, organize and direct day to day veterinary programs at the Farms. |
| • | | To advise Farm Management on veterinary matters. |
| • | | To lead the management team to comply with the criteria set by the Department of Veterinary Services for the continued myGAP (Malaysia Good Agricultural Practices). |
| • | | To communicate with veterinary product suppliers. Recommend purchases of veterinary products. |
| • | | To communicate with Department of Veterinary Services on veterinary matters, as and when required. |
| • | | To comply with the requirements of the documented Quality Management System that meets the ISO 9001 Standard. |
| • | | To ensure all Veterinary aspects of good animal husbandry practices (GAHP), flock health monitoring and programs are adhered to at all times for continuous, efficient and productive farm. |
| • | | Ensure biosecurity, vaccination, routine medications, disease monitoring, diagnostics, laboratory sampling and result interpretation are carried out routinely, or as required. |
| • | | To monitor that all routine operation matters are well managed by all workers and respective Head of Departments. |
| • | | To train relevant staff on veterinary and husbandry aspects of Farm work |
| • | | When required, ensure all farm resources (labour, livestock, feeds, biologics and pharmaceuticals, equipment and machinery, vehicles and fuel, buildings and facilities including power generators land and water, etc) and farm produce (eggs, spent birds) are well kept and utilized, well maintained, adequately recorded and accounted for. |
| • | | To carry out other duties as directed by the Farm Manager. |
REQUIREMENTS
| • | | Possess Degree in Veterinary Medicine. |
| • | | Able to do post mortem and diagnose poultry diseases accurately. |
| • | | Personal management skills. |
| • | | Able to communicate well |
