About FFM Berhad

FFM Berhad (FFM) was incorporated in 1962 but commenced operations as a wheat flour miller in 1966. PPB Group Berhad acquired FFM in 1987 to become a 50.86% listed subsidiary of PPB Group Berhad. In 2004, FFM was privatized pursuant to a members’ scheme of arrangement under Section 176 of the Companies Act 1965, making FFM a wholly-owned subsidiary of PPB.

In 2010, PGEO Group Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wilmar International Limited, subscribed for 20% equity interest in FFM, diluting PPB’s interest in FFM to 80%.

Our Business

Flour Milling

FFM Group is the largest flour miller in Malaysia with milling complexes strategically located in Pulau Indah, Pasir Gudang, Prai, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu with a total milling capacity of 2,820 mt per day.

Animal Feed Manufacturing

The FFM Group diversified into the manufacturing of animal feed in 1981 at Port Klang with an initial capacity of 10,000 mt of feed per annum.

Livestock Farming

FFM Group diversified downstream into broiler day-old-chicks breeding and production of table eggs through a wholly-owned subsidiary, FFM Farms Sdn. Bhd. in 1993.

Food Processing

FFM Further Processing Sdn. Bhd. (FFP), a subsidiary company of FFM Berhad, commissioned its food processing plant in 2007 at Pulau Indah, Klang.

Consumer Products Distribution

FFM Marketing Sdn. Bhd. (FMSB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of FFM Berhad, was set up in 1993. FMSB markets a wide range of fast-moving consumer products under its own brands as well as other international and local brands.

Bakery

The Italian Baker Sdn. Bhd. (TIB), a wholly owned subsidiary of FFM Berhad, operates a modern RM120 million industrial bakery that produces a range of delicious bread and cakes under the Massimo brand in Pulau Indah, Selangor.
